Scout Sunday is a wonderful tradition for Cub Scout Packs and Scouts BSA Troops that gives Scouts an opportunity to better exercise their “Duty to God” from the Scout Oath. Scout Sunday celebrations are typically organized by adult leaders in the unit in conjunction with a local place of worship and generally includes Scouts participating in the service while in uniform. | Scout Sunday’s traditional celebration day is the Sunday closest to February 8th, which is the Boy Scouts of America’s official birthday, though it’s ultimately up to the unit as to when they have their Scout Sunday.
