It's Time to Sell

It's time for Popcorn and we are so excited to be able to help simplify the sale this year with the popcorn app, online tutorials, Facebook page and more. Be sure to keep an eye on this web page for updates and information.

***ATTENTION UNIT KERNELS***

Show & Sell orders can now be placed online through your unit account with Trail's End. Order for Show & Sell are due by Aug. 9!

PLEASE NOTE - in order to have Show & Sell product in hands of units, your unit's Show & Sell order is due by Aug. 9, the day after the August Roundtable Kickoffs in 3 districts. For our Scouts in Old Sycamore this date is before your kickoff, so please connect and order your popcorn before kickoff. The unit leader who registered the unit to sell will have access to order the Show & Sell product via the Trail's End site. This date was established to be able to have popcorn product in hands of units before the Labor Day holiday weekend.

Rocket Into Scouting Membership Champions Needed

This year’s recruitment night is September 12 across all of Northwest Ohio. We are collaborating with Erie Shores Council to help better maximize marketing and awareness for families to come out and join Scouting. How your unit can prepare? It’s time to start identifying your unit's Membership Champion for this year. 

We will be having our membership kickoffs at roundtable on August 8 and August 13. Membership Champions help participate in school open house nights, help market Scouting in your community and school, attend kickoff, follow up with families and promote Scouting. Help us, help you and take a few minutes to complete this quick survey by July 29 about your unit's Join Scouting Night (JSN). This survey will ask for information about your unit's Membership Champion, JSN info (including time and location), and flyer request printing information. This year, our Council is investing in your unit through social media advertising. It is paramount to complete this survey by July 29 to ensure your unit is participating in the Council's September 12 Join Scouting Night and reap the benefits of the online, paid, location-based social media advertising. Studies show utilizing this form of social media advertising can increase your recruitment by over 10%!  

Note: In order to gain popcorn commission bonus, you must have two separate people (at a minimum) attend the membership and popcorn kickoff for you unit.

Online registration and Unit Pin Management

Make sure your Be A Scout PIN is updated. Packs and Troops can share information about their unit online. Committee Chairs, Charter Organization Representatives, and Cubmasters/Scoutmasters can approve youth online applications.
