Can you please help us communicate with your organization better?

                Like its effects on many organizations, COVID has been a significant challenge for the BSA Black Swamp Area Council. The pandemic closed our outdoor programs and postponed our in-person unit meetings. Our young scouts do not appreciate Zoom meetings any more than the rest of us.

                However, all was not lost during the pandemic. We had 19,329 hours of community service projects, 699 Youth in Workforce Development Program, and 164 of our scouts earned the rank of Eagle. We served the 5,520 youth members of our council as well as conditions would allow.

                As we come out of the pandemic, we want to improve our communication with you and all of the members of your organization. We are asking your help in identifying additional members of your team that would help us communicate activities your unit is involved in, as well as some of the more interesting activities of the Council.

Could you please give us the name and the e-mail address of the person responsible for communicating activities to other members of your organization? For example, the person who prepares the newsletters, bulletins, or electronic messages to keep your membership informed. 
              

           If you have such a position, could you please give us the name and the e-mail address of the person responsible for your youth programs? For example, the person responsible for Sunday School classes or youth baseball teams?

Finally, do you have anyone in your organization you know is a former scout or scouter? For example, a former unit leader for your organization or a former scout? Could you please give us their name and e-mail address?
