Charter Organization Luncheon at Camp Berry and Camp Lakota
As an effort to strengthen our relationships with the charter organizations of the Black Swamp Area Council, each of the heads of the charter organizations (IH) and charter organization representatives are invited to visit either/or both Camp Berry and Lakota this summer for lunch.
Our Charter Organizations play a very important role in making Scouting successful in our local community.
As a thank you the council is inviting the heads of the charter organizations (IH) and charter organization representatives to lunch at either Camp Lakota in Defiance on Tuesday, June 27 or Camp Berry in Findlay on Thursday, July 13.
In addition to lunch, tours of camp will be available as well.
The council wants to share the great things that are happening in our council and explore opportunities on how not only your scout unit can use our wonderful camp but the charter organizations. Both Camp Lakota and Camp Berry are hidden gems in our community, and the council wants to share the camps not only with our units but the charter organizations.
This event is designed for the head of the charter organizations (IH) and charter organization representatives, not unit leaders. Unit leaders are asked to encourage their head of the charter organizations (IH) and charter organization representatives to attend one of these lunches.
