National Service Territory 9 Outdoor Program Support Conference

Saturday, January 29, 2022

Camp Belzer, Lawrence IN

The Outdoors is where Scouting delivers the Promise of Adventure to the youth it serves. As an Outdoor Program leader in your council, you need to have all of the tools available to help do your job better and help the Scouting Movement in its Mission. The National Service Territory model was designed to better serve your council and assist you in communication and sharing resources with other councils. This is the first territory-wide event of NST9.

This conference is for you!

The Territory is presenting this conference for all Outdoor Program Support committees in your council. Exclusive specialty sessions in committee operations, objectives and focus will be offered along with updated NCAP information and other news from the National Council. Specialty morning sessions to be offered are:

  • Council NCAP Committees
  • Council COPE/Climbing Committees
  • Council Aquatics Committees
  • Council Conservation/Environment Committees
  • Council Shooting Sports Committees
  • Council Outdoor Ethics/Leave No Trace Committees
  • Council Properties Committees

A special feature will be the opportunity to have a “thumbnail” overview of each specialty session and the opportunity to participate in an open roundtable discussion with the whole conference.

The 2022 NST9 Outdoor Program Support Conference opens at 8:00 a.m. with registration and the opening ceremony is at 8:45. Cost for the Conference is $30.00 per person. Pre-registration is required and appreciated. To register, CLICK HERE.

Note: The Crossroads of America Council and NST 9 will follow all local COVID protocols in place at the time of the conference. Please provide yourself with a mask.

This is an outstanding opportunity for you to meet and network with all of the Outdoor leadership of our new Territory.

If you have questions, please contact Jim Kern, National Service Territory 9 Program Lead at:
